Modding communities have recently come together to do something pretty cool: create mods that Valve could add in the vein of 20th century warfare. There's a website with the FAQ and a short video showing off some fo the stuff. They want everything from mappers to animators to put forth their effort in creating things like taunts, maps, cosmetic stuff, and weapons.

I hope that maybe someone will want to contribute to this TF2 community project!
