Promotion and Award (Anthony R. Hardy)

SSgt. Butler said:

For the past few months, PFC Hardy has been put to the test time and time again. He's been thrown more curve-balls in that time than most squad leaders ever see. He's handled them with grace and maturity and always with the intention of finding the best outcome. While his total time spent in SLT was not necessarily smooth, he stands before you now as proof that persistence, hard work and self-awareness will help you go the distance. Tonight, he was put to the final test of his SLT programme and after much deliberation, we've come to a decision. Having displayed the skill, composure and leadership example we expect of all our NCO's, PFC Hardy has proved his mettle. Now, his leadership journey truly begins. With all this said, it is our utmost pleasure to announce that, henceforth, he shall be known as PFC Hardy no more.

Congratulations, Cpl. Hardy. You've worked hard for this and have proved your worth for all present to see.
