Sgt. Tilley is one of a kind. He’s the type of person who you can rely on to get a job done. Whenever he sets his mind to a task, he won’t come back to you until it’s finished. When I was first assigned as his ASL, I was nervous, seeing as I was filling in some very big shoes, but Sgt. Tilley helped me out and showed me what it means to be an effective ASL and an even better person. I can always count on him to back me up in games or in TS. When we’re leading the squad during drills, you can be sure he’s pushing up with the rest of the squad to accomplish an objective. Not only that, he is a sound tactical leader, drawing up plans for scenarios I had never even thought of. I look forward to leading S2 with him for many more years. Congratulations Sgt.
