As far as uplifting pop anthems go, not bad. 6/10
The Comet Is Coming - Blood of the Past (feat. Kate Tempest)
Braxton Holmes feat. John Redman - People Everyday [Mark Grant's Free Mix]
There are many elements in this that I like, but the obnoxious bass drum hitting down on every beat throughout ruins the song for me. I have a feeling I would like the original version more.
Snarky Puppy - "What About Me?"
Truly excellent instrumentals. The bass is fire. Love the wind section. Drummer is really good too.
In the spirit of instrumental songs...
YYZ by Rush
Of course I aready know this classic (I believe I've posted it before here). One of the most challenging songs I've learned to play on bass.
Whitesnake - "Fool for Your Loving" (1980 version)
Arcade Fire - Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains) Live at Coachella 2011
The song is not bad, but the poor sound mixing here does ruin the experience a little bit for me. The vocals tend to get drowned out by the instrumental. I wish they balanced the audio levels.
Kurt Nilsen - "Du sa" (Live)
5/10, not really my thing.
Linkin Loyalist (StringStorm) - Purging with my Kin
I'd rather listen to the original.
Huey Lewis - "Once Upon a Time in New York City"
(One of my favorite Disney ballads.)
I am very sorry Pede. I am not the biggest fan
Good luck to everyone else going through Exam season at the moment luv u
Roi - Videoclub (A band I have discovered recently. I am in love with their music)
1/3 Not my kind of music
Cowboy Bebop OST - Car24
7/10 - I can like this.
Toto - "Straight for the Heart"
Foxwarren - "Lost on You"
Tommy James & The Shondells - Crimson and Clover
Sean Rowe - "1952 Vincent Black Lightning"
7/10 - I like how dynamic his playing is.
Rollo & King - "Never Ever Let You Go"
(This was the Danish entry for Eurovision Song Contest 2001 where it came 2nd.)
This Thread is weak. We need to get some more variety.
Let's All get along now.
Cat Stevens - Hard Headed Woman
I prefer this "Hard Headed Woman" (Elvis Presley):
Antonio Vivaldi - Cantate "Cessate, Omai Cessate"
Pink Floyd - "Green Is the Colour"
(One of my favorite deep cuts.)
Very soothing, I'll give it a 7.5/10.
United States Marine Corps - Fired Up...Feels Good
Not something I would listen to on a regular basis, but serves its purpose.
Eagles - "Too Many Hands"
(Another deep cut. Bassist Randy Meisner on the lead vocals.)
Sorry Pede, not for me.
Symphony no9, Mov 4
Bootleg - Sophisticated Thugs
John Fogerty - "Gunslinger"
Chilly Gonzales - Nimbus | A COLORS SHOW
3/10 - Its cool but not my taste.
Rory Gallagher - Follow Me
Vulfpeck - "Disco Ulysses (Instrumental)"
Night Moves - Recollections
Sounds like they were going for that classic 80s sound. Good drive in the instrumental, but needs a stronger hook in the melody.
The Fearless Flyers - "Simon F15"
