Alexandre Desplat - The Imitation Game

  • 9/10 - Great movie, great soundtrack!

Harry Chapin - "Cat's in the Cradle"

  • 8/10 ahh that brings back the feels.

Been playing a lot of Red Dead Redemption 2 lately. This one seemed an appropriate track for Online play and accidental player kills.
Johnny Cash - I Hung My Head

  • 7/10

Here's a track I get nostalgic about because I used to play this song in Lego Rock Band on Nintendo DS when I was a kid:

    The Primitives - "Crash"

And yes, I am aware of the melodic similarities with "99 Luftballons" by Nena.

In memory of Jahn Teigen who recently passed away. He's one of the most beloved figures here in Norway:

Jahn Teigen & Anita Skorgan - "Adieu"

Tell me, what does goodbye (adieu) mean?
Is it only sad, something that hurts you?
Believe me, we shall say goodbye
Not like the last time, when I left you
I will always remember you as a friend
If we never see each other again

We have our memories, they will never die
Now the time has come, to say goodbye

Tell me, what does goodbye mean?
Can it have any worth if all has passed?
Believe me, we shall say goodbye
Show love if we get splitted up completely
I will always remember you like a friend
If we never see each other again

We have our memories, they will never die
Now the time has come, to say goodbye
    Goodbye

    4/10 My condolences.

    French 79 - Code Zero

Not something I would add to my playlist, but certainly something different.
    Rating: 7/10

    Diadato - "Fai rumore"

My favorite song in this year's Eurovision Song Contest. Hoping it won't be cancelled due to the coronavirus. My thoughts are with the people of Italy who suffers the most in Europe right now from the virus.

  • 4/10

Du bist alles (feat. Tobias Morgenstern) (Filmfassung)

For those who enjoy some historical fiction, I highly recommend Babylon Berlin.

  • 6/10

    Lava - "Aquilo Blow"

Khruangbin - Time (You and I)

    5/10

Starset - Other Worlds Than These

  • 3/10 - Not my kind of music.

    Sigur Rós - "Hoppípolla"

It's remarkable that this band got some international success and recognition despite singing their songs in Icelandic (and partly in a made-up language they call Hopelandish).

  • 10/10 I think the emotional resonance that their music achieves spans any language or physical border. One of the final scenes in The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou has Starálfur playing over it and it STILL gets me to this day.

    That being said.

The Life Aquatic & Sigur Ros

    A solid 8/10.

This one is from 1970's, its genre is called as "Anatolian Rock". Song is a little psyhcedelic and very famous due to being Playstation 3's reveal theme. Enjoy

  • 7/10 - Interesting mix of what sounds like traditional Turkish elements and 60s psychedelia.

Åse Kleveland - "Intet er nytt under solen"

Live at the 1966 Eurovision Song Contest (3rd place). The title translates to "there's nothing new under the sun".

  • Sure! 7/10

    Woodkid - Goliath (Official Video)

  • 6/10

Here's a badass track from a Spanish duo:

    Fuel Fandango - "Saljave"

  • 7/10 No malo

MonoNeon & Madlib - 'Fallin' (instrumental)

  • 8/10
Definitely vibe with this, great for when I draw or study.

  • 7/10

Billy Preston - "Nothing from Nothing"

  • 7.5/10 It's Billy Preston, nice funk

    Here's something
Diskoria feat. Dian Sastrowardoyo - Serenata Jiwa Lara

  • 7/10 It's got kind of an Electric Light Orchestra vibe. Nice.

And now for something completely different...

  • 5/10 - That's a bit hard for me to get into.

Sting - "If I Ever Lose My Faith in You"
