I don't like these vocals. Sounds like he's slightly out of tune in some parts. The instrumental doesn't offer anything of interest either.
Overall score: 2/10
Kate Gulbrandsen - "Mitt liv" (English: "My Life")
Norway in ESC 1987, 9th place. As you can tell by the hairspray overload, this is the same lady I posted a photo of in the "Pictures vs. Pictures" thread.
Now the limelight has been lit, a voice whispers anxiously
What have I to say?
Will I dare to walk forward? Do I dare to meet them?
Do I have enough to give?
I have to seize the chance now
But can I trust myself, my life?
Now I'm standing in front of a road, only I can walk
A future in my hands
And a goal only I can catch
No one can take my dream away from me, it is my life
I'm looking for answers
All the thoughts I have, make me doubt
But that won't stop me
I want to go my own way and I dare to say
Now it's me it's all about
Now I'm going to trust myself, my life
Now I'm standing in front of a road, only I can walk
A future in my hands
And a goal only I can catch
No one can take my dream away from me
In front of a road, only I can walk
A future in my hands
And a goal only I can reach
No one can take away from me
No one can take away my dream from me
My dream
You are hard to impress, aren't ya? The guitar solo is one of my favorites, but I digress...
I give your pick 7/10. I find the melody pretty soothing despite the cheesy production.
Now what about this? This is one of the songs I considered posting for Halloween:
Huey Lewis and the News - "Doing It All for My Baby"
I'm pretty sure I've heard this song before. I should be glad I'm not afraid of clowns or else I would have freaked out watching the music video. I'm not the biggest fan of hiphop, so not for me. Not bad, tho.
Overall score: 5/10
Take Me Home, Country Roads, but it’s being played on a summer night from your neighbors porch.
Everyone knows this. You’re lying if you don’t feel a sense of nostalgia, even if it’s from the memories of a person you don’t even know. Growing up and still living in southern WV, this hits so close to home for me.

4/10
Because it's Halloween
Joy Division - Chance (Atmosphere)
10/10
J.D. - Dead Souls (Licht und Blindheit)
I've tried getting into Joy Division, but I just can't. There's something with their sound that just doesn't click right with me.
Overall score: 5/10
Steely Dan - "Peg"
7/10
Coldcut Eric B . & Rakim - Paid in Full
6.5/10 Cheeky
Jamie T - Calm Down Dearest
The bass sits nicely in the mix, but these vocals turn me off.
Overall score: 2/10
38 Special - "Hold On Loosely"
5/10 - It's interesting in that it sounds like a song taken from an 80's John Hughes movie, but aside from that, there's not much of worth here.
Go Kart Mozart (Lawrence of Belgravia, i.e. Felt/Denim) - A New World

bicep - just (vs. jamie xx - gosh)
10/10 bicep naughty
Yung Lean Happy Feet
Decent production, but I can't stand those vocal effects (which has been overused to death at this point).
Overall score: 2/10
Daryl Hall & John Oates - "Out of Touch"
4/10
Never was a huge Pink Floyd fan. It just sounds too hippie for my tastes.
Insane Clown Posse - Hokus Pokus. (I actually enjoy ICP. )
Pink Floyd??? I don't know where you got that from. It's Hall and Oates.
I'm pretty sure I've heard this song before. I should be glad I'm not afraid of clowns or else I would have freaked out watching the music video. I'm not the biggest fan of hiphop, so not for me. Not bad, tho.
