Cream - Sunshine of Your Love (RIP Ginger Baker )

  • 8/10, love that song.

Spencer Davis Group - Gimme Some Lovin (1966)

  • edited October 2019

7/10 - Good song, but I prefer The Blues Brothers' version.

    Lava - "Hold On"

(I think it's clear now that this is my favorite Norwegian band. Love the 80s West Coast AOR vibe.)

  • 8/10, sounds awesome, you know I love that 80s stuff!

Classics IV - Stormy (1968) - Love the bass in this one

  • 8/10 lovely

Takeshi Terauchi and The Bunnys - Genroku Hanami Odori

  • I did not expect to hear Japanese surf rock. I can picture this being used in a 60s action/spy film, but not something I would actively seek out again.
    Rating: 6/10

    Lava - "Double Vision"

    (From their new album.)

  • Haha I do have eclectic tastes.

This is interesting. It's a new album but sounds like an 80s homage (or derivative if you being negative). Having grown up in the 80s I'm a hard sell on this stuff though. 6/10

Tim Maia - O Caminho Do Bem

  • First time I've heard funk sung in Portuguese. I didn't find it that catchy, but I love the groove.
    Rating: 7/10

The O'Jays - "Give the People What They Want"

    Robbie Dupree - "Steal Away"

    The quintessential yacht rock tune.

  • 6/10 "yacht rock"?! hilarious I'd never heard of it.

    Tommy Guerrero - Slow Roll

As for your song: 6/10 - It was nice, but I wish something more happened.

    Theo Katzman - "Hard Work"

  • 7/10 pretty chill

    Sabaton-Red Baron

  • 6/10 for this sabaton track. I really like “Sparta” by them

  • 1/10 - Too much autotune.

    Have a good November:

Guns N' Roses - "November Rain"

    Tracy Chapman - "Fast Car"

    Blue Oyster Cult-Godzilla

Amina - "C'est le dernier qui a parlé qui a raison"

The Tunisian-born singer represented France in Eurovision Song Contest 1991 and tied for 1st place with Sweden in points, but due to the tie-breaker France got 2nd in the official results. Quite a sophisticated song. In my opinion, the best song they've ever sent to ESC.

  • 9/10 Very interesting, should be paired with some good wine!

System Of A Down - Hypnotize

  • 7/10 Classic band. Classic song!
Joy Division - Disorder(live and the greatest version!)

  • edited November 2019

Good energy, but I'm not a fan of the vocals which drags it down quite a bit for me.
    Rating: 5/10

Vamp (feat. Rita Eriksen) - "Tir n'a Noir"

A Norwegian folk song, but the title refers to the Irish mythical land of Tír na nÓg.

  • 6/10 beautiful. Personally not my style but very folk sounding
The Dirty Mac - Yer Blues

“Supergroup” with Eric Clapton, John Lennon, Mitch Mitchell(Jimi Hendrix Experience), and Keith Richards(Rolling Stones)

  • 8/10 - It's actually a song from The Beatles' self-titled 1968 album, better known as "The White Album".

Here's a gem from said album:

    The Beatles - "Honey Pie"

  • 6/10

Here is something me and some buddies jam out too often.

Do Your Worst by The Rival Sons

  • 7/10

    Cold War Kids - "Complainer"

  • 3/10 - Meh

This is only the better Trios to come out Britain in the 60s imo

    Taste - Railway and Gun

  • 7/10 - I love how I can hear every instrument so clearly in the mix. Great bass tone!

    Boston - "A Man I'll Never Be"
