  • Interesting instrument with a cool sound. I love Pink Floyd and "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" as a song is easily a 10/10.

Chicago - "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?"

  • Chicago reminds me of a better time when life wasn't so chaotic and complicated like these modern times we live in. a Solid 8.5/10

Here's one for the metal heads. Brazil's power metal pride, Angra - Carry on.

  • 8/10

    John Mayer - Gravity
    The gravity starts at 1:40

  • Not that many guitarists play with this level of passion. Heavenly performance! Blows the studio version out of the water!
    Need I say more? 10/10 !

  • 10/10

keeping up the Van Morrison but this time with The Band.

    Fleetwood Mac - "Dreams"

  • 7/10

    Power Metal time
    Galneryus - Destiny (Live)

  • Not my genre but 10/10 purely for talent and skill. Damn they got skill.

    Woodkid- The Golden Age (Live)

  • 10/10 - Damn! He's really good live! Beautiful orchestration too!

The Doobie Brothers - "Listen to the Music"

  • That's pretty cool! Another song to my liked playlists. 9.25/10.

Sergio Mendes and Brasil '66 - Lost in Paradise

  • Very nice to listen to. Not necessarily playlist material for me, but didn't feel like skipping at any point. Interesting choice of using dissonance in the vocal melody (hear 1:01). Dissonance can sound really cool if applied in the right places, and this song is a clear example of that.

    Goo Goo Dolls - "Sympathy"

(I just can't get enough of John Rzeznik's voice.)

  • 3/10

IS THIS THE FIRST PICTURE V. PICTURE/RATE WHAT THE PERSON ABOVE YOU IS LISTENING TO CROSSOVER!?

William Shatner - 'Rocket Man' (1978)

  • 5/10 - Funny, but I prefer singing instead of talking.

Now for a song that was released this year, but still sounds like it was recorded in the late 90s:

    beabadoobee - "Care"

(P.S. I now see I forgot to give a specific rating for PFC Ortiz' song. I was going to give it 7/10 btw.)

The Band - I Shall Be Released

  • 7/10 - Beautiful vocals, though nowhere near as catchy as "The Weight".

Prince - "I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man"

[A small correction from my previous post: "Power Up" is AC/DC's 17th, not 18th studio album.]

Billie Joe Armstrong & Norah Jones - Long Time Gone

  • 8/10 - The Green Day singer's voice fits surprisingly well for this kind of music. A pleasant surprise!
