I need a new graphics card. Any tips?

So I'm making this thread because I don't have the slightest knowledge of computer hardware.
I'm currently a slightly shameful owner of a GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr II (880 MHz Core & 1024MB GDDR5 4200MHz Memory) and am wondering what decent cards are out there.
I can't afford a downgrade, so it has to outperform the one I have.
Anything below $150 is appreciated, but I can go for $350 maximum. Basically looking for the most bang-for-the-buck so to speak.
Also, my motherboard is a Gigabyte P35-DS3.

Any assistance on this is appreciated.

I can recommend the Geforce 970. Good value for the price, runs new releases at good fps (Witcher 3 never drops below 50 on ultra settings). There has been some scandal about it not being able to use all of it's potential or something though, and there might be better cards out there.

It's a good starting point. Compare the suggestions you get with the 970 and see how it adds up!

  • After some discussion with my squad and my technical uncle, I've decided to purchase the MXI GeForce GTX 970.
    Thanks for your help.
