No, not because our surnames only differ by two letters - but because I’ve seen him follow almost literally in my footsteps.
From hustling as the Leader of CP1S3 and ultimately leading the whole platoon, to being our primary FNF liaison, Sgt. Nielsen has proven himself to be a stand-up, reliable member of the 29th, and a great pal all around.
For his (only?) 2 and a half years of service, we are proud to award him his 5th AOCC. Congrats Sarge!
