It has been a year and a half since 2Lt. Quiles took over 3rd Platoon. Since then, he has made 3rd Platoon the gold standard to which all other Easy company platoons are measured. His platoon has produced the last two company clerks and a large number of sharp shooters. He has lent his tactical skills to FP2 during their scrim prep and played a large role in their success through his detail plaining. He looks for ways to improve his platoon every week. 2Lt. Quiles not only takes care of 3rd platoon, but also drives other leadership to be better though his guesting and team leading at other platoon’s drills. I personally enjoy the challenge of team leading against him and know he will give me more than I can handle on any given day. So for his dedication and hard work within Easy Company and Second Battalion, I would like to promote 2Lt. Quiles to First Lieutenant. Congratulation 1Lt. Quiles.
