Three Years of Service (Neil Ericksen)

There are few people in Charlie Company whom I see as a true peer - not in skill or rank, but in their sheer dedication to the unit. It is one thing to show up to drill with the gang, but it is another thing entirely to want to take responsibility for facilitating and coordinating everything we do here in the 29th.

Since attaining PFC, 2Lt. Ericksen has strived to make sure things go to plan, whether it is within his squad, his platoon, company or the entire unit. His sheer concern for the morale of his men is admirable, and exceeds that of your common “leader” - if you guys only knew the dedication he has to making sure you all have a good time! He goes to damn near every squad drill beyond hosting his own Platoon drills, he has acted as community leader for FNF for quite some time now (attending nearly every week) and has a respectable presence on Sundays to boot.

People like this are few and far between, so for all the weekends and evenings you have sacrificed for your men, we are proud to award you with your 6th AOCC. Congrats, 2Lt, you’re doing a hell of a job - let’s see 6 more!

Here’s to 666 more!

Congratulations LT, looking forward to working with you and getting 6 more!

Congratulations 2Lt.
