1Lt. Nelson said:
“Four years ago, 2Lt. Ericksen enlisted with us here in the 29th. In that time, he has become a staple of Charlie Company, giving his all to make sure his platoon is in working-order. It is rare to see those who are willing to take on the responsibility of leading an entire Platoon, and he has done so with grace. For his continued dedication and service to the unit, we are proud to award the Lieutenant his 8th AOCC, and with it his 2nd WWI Victory medal. Congrats, and thank you for doing what you do.”
