Shortly after FP2’s scrim was announced, I made an off-hand remark to T/5 de Freitas that he should round up some of his fellow Doggies to help with scrim prep. I expected a minor effort on his part, but what I got was a regular presence from Dog Company during all of FP2’s drills for the entire month of August. This was especially useful as it was one of the largest scrims in 29th history - 45 vs 45 with 2 tanks per team and a large, open desert to deal with. The scale was difficult to replicate in drills but it was made much easier with his efforts. In recognition of his efforts 2nd Battalion is happy to award him a Good Conduct Medal.
