Thank you for reaching out. With regard to question one, I’m trying to move away from using my real name in gaming communities. I haven’t had an issue up to this point and I have nothing to hide, but you hear stories of trolls and people giving others grief in RL when they get their real name. So I figured it would be best to submit the application with a name as close to my current gamer name as possible G-Loc.
I have no recollection of applying to the 29th back in 2017. I was shocked to see real name pop up and see an AWOL discharge after submitting the application. I can’t explain the AWOL because I don’t remember what happened. I will say that all of my discharges have been honorable. Going AWOL is just not my style. I always want to leave the door open to return to a group if I want to.
I didn’t say anything about my experience because I just want to go back to being a PVT with a gun and enjoy playing the game. I tend to end up in command very quickly and what was gaming fun turns into a desk job. After taking a break from Milsim for a year or so I’m trying to start over and avoid that. That’s why I didn’t list all of my experience.

While we understand if you have to miss a training session, your attendance is a significant factor in graduating BCT.

Thank you for following up and my acceptance letter. I have a schedule conflict with BCT. I will be on vacation and unavailable from December 7th to the 12th. It is highly likely that I may not be able to attend on Monday the 5th or Tuesday the 6th as well due to packing and other preparations prior to leaving. I’m not sure what other time slots are available. I don’t have any plans to work around other than Christmas eve and day after my vacation.
