Recruit Marquand,

Our BCTs run on a 5 day, Sunday through Thursday, schedule at either 2PM, 7PM, or 9PM EST. While we understand the need to miss a day or two can come up, we do require all our recruits to attend a majority of the scheduled days. Would this requirement, at any of those time slots for all five days, work for your schedule?

As of now I would be able to attend one of the three time slots Sunday through Thursday. In short yes I would be able to attend the specified time slots.

Did you have a preference for which works best for you?

Unfortunately its not consistent for all 5 days due to my work/class schedule, but Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 1400, Tuesday 1900 works best for me. However I have a midterm due this Sunday Apr 23 so I will not be able to attend that day.

Would that be an issue for the instructors?

Hey Recruit,
Sorry for the delay, unfortunately we can not place you into the BCT beginning April 23rd.
Would April 30 through May 4 at 7pm EST work well for you?
Alternatively we do have one May 7 through May 11 at 9pm EST

Sorry for the Inconvenience, please respond with which would work better. It is alright if you have to miss a day, but it is important that whichever schedule chosen allows for you to attend the most days possible.

Unfortunately I have classes those days so I will be unable to attend at that time. Do you have any 2pm EST times available? Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 1400 is when I am available, I would most likely miss Tuesday as I work that day and will not be home until 6pm EST. I apologize for my unorthodox schedule.

Yes we will have a GMT BCT at 2pm EST on May 7th through May 11th. If this would work best for you we can assign you to that one. Each session lasts about an hour.

That would work for me, thank you. I am really looking forward it.

When:

Sunday, May 7th, to Thursday, May 11th, each night at 2pm EST

While we understand if you have to miss a training session, your attendance is a significant factor in graduating BCT.

If you do not understand time zones well, here is a link to a time zone converter, the link already has a preset EST and GMT time zone depending on what link you’ll click. To find the time difference click, ‘Add another city or time zone’ and type in a city near you that shares your time zone and add it. For example if I picked Los Angeles, which is a city on the west coast of America, I can see something scheduled at 7pm EST happening at 4pm PDT.

This is the EST link , this is the GMT link

Checking In. Is there another steam link for Cpl. Lapp? The one listed gives me an error. Or is it more preferable to contact them via a PM? I apologize but I just realized my time zone was incorrect on my enlistment paperwork. I am on the east coast so EST time is preferable, however everything discussed so far regarding times for training is still perfectly fine. Not sure if my time zone affects my liaison.

Hello Recruit @The_UltimateDad, CPL. @Lapp will still be your EL unless it will be agreed with you. You can still contact him via PM on the forums and you can discuss with him if you want an EL for your timezone, but generally timezone should not be an issue.
