Sgt. York has been with me in platoon for 5 months now, and that only a fraction of how long he’s actually been with us. I can remember back to our early days before either of us were in leadership, he and I were quite the powerhouse duo with our AITs. Through out SLT he and I were extremely competitive towards one another and when we finally started leading our own squads we pushed our squads to see who had the better performing squad. Now finally at the current peak of our 29th careers, there’s no one else who I’d want with me in platoon.
