After 11 Years of service in the 29th, one-third of my life has been part of the 29th. It’s been a hell of a ride.
The end was somewhat bumpy, but I must say it was all worth it. I’ve learned a lot, gotten to know a lot of people and learned a lot of skills.
It’s one big family with friends, and I do somewhat have a hard time having to say this, but my lifestyle has changed.
Some things have come up which now leave me with barely any free time, giving me no other option than to ask for a discharge.
I am sure I will be back one day, and to my fellow mates in Charlie: when I do return, I hope most of you are still around
so we can reunite, play, have fun, and banter. When time allows, I will try and join drills as a guest to not lose the connection we have—
because you all are something special. What a journey it has been.
1Lt. Nelson a special note for you, i truly admire you as friend, the trust you gave me and your personality is something of a different level, thank you for giving me the chances and all help and care you gave me as a person. deeply from inside it truly hits me when writing this.
The time has come for me to say goodbye, for now at least. See you soon.
