DP2S2 simply wouldn’t be DP2S2 without PFC Gao. In his time with the squad, he has grown into a formidable submachine gunner and pointman, role model and liaison for new Valkyries, and a deep-rooted core member of the squad. He’s always sure to make you smile with his sense of humor and uncontrollable laughing fits, and does a mean job behind the camera in his position in Civil Affairs Corps. Although sometimes his attendance can dip due to real life circumstances, he’s always enthusiastic about doing what he can to make up for the time he’s missed in order to constantly improve his skills. One of the most exuberant and friendly people I’ve met hands down, we’re truly blessed to have him in our squad and I couldn’t be more proud as his squad leader. Having surpassed 1 year and 6 months in service with the 29th, he has earned and is being awarded his 3rd Army of Occupation Medal. Congratulations PFC Gao!
