Cpl. Capwell has been in leadership for a few years now, and he had quite the shoes to fill after T/4 Zylath stepped down from leadership. However, out of everyone in the platoon, I could think of no other better for the task in maintaining the excellence that DP3S1 has cultivated over their years of service. Outside of this Cpl. Capwell has taken in strides in building both intra and inter company relationships, guesting DP1, and attending Charlie Company’s events! He has encapsulated and adopted well to the core principles expected of a NCO.
After deliberating with Company HQ, we found that two chevrons no longer fit the shoulder boards of Cpl. Capwell. Especially when considering how much of an impact he had across the company and battalion relationships. Therefore, an additional chevron is deserved, congratulations on your promotion Sergeant Capwell! I look forward to seeing your continued contributions towards the unit as a whole.
