Pvt. Montoya is a little bit of an oddball. His path to S3 was disrupted by a brief stint in 2S1, but he made his way here regardless. From the jump, Montoya proved to be a ferocious fighter and a person always willing to be first in the door. I really appreciated the attitude because, well, privates usually are the ones sent kicking down the doors, and it helps when they love doing that. Maybe loving it a little too much, as Montoya has taken many lives from the nades, rounds, and jokes he throws during the drill. He has proven to already be an integrated member of S3, and his performance is nothing to scoff at. Knowing this, it seems only right to grant him his first chevron. Congratulations, PFC Montoya, keep it up!
