Promotion and Badge (Stijn Hapers)

Sgt. J. Wright said:

When I first seen PFC Hapers drills I thought to myself “Oh no this is gonna work” He had an old 29th mindset that was around back in 2017/18, PFC Hapers was going through SLT back then and was taught a certain way of doing drills. As he left the 29th, the 29th changed a lot during his absence so when he came back to be in SLT and be a ASL he had to relearn a lot of things which much would be resistant to. He was able to adapt well to the new ways of doing things in the 29th, he changed his tactics and drill style to suit the 29th standard but he also brought something else with him. His passion and hard work. His paperwork is an example to other SL’s and his humility in taking on harsh and crippling feedback is an inspiration. He is always calm and when things go downhill and he is able to work through many of the problems that came his way. Going into EP1S2 just from an HD and into leadership is a daunting task but he has managed to do it will stride. I am well impressed and so is his SL that we decided to promote him to Cpl. Congrats Cpl. Hapers.
