PFC Barquest has been around the block for quite some time in Dog Company. I had the pleasure of meeting him initially in DP3S2, under the leadership of then Sgt. Brenholen and Cpl. Deb. PFC Barquest being one of the true blue collar workers of the squad is reflected in his “pull by the bootstraps” attitude when it comes to challenges and tasks. His excellent work ethic has made him a reassuring ASL, knowing that I can always trust on him to step up when the task demanded particular attention. Outside of this, his different background has allowed for unique squad bonding that is shared among blue collar workers that other squads would be unable to foster. With all that being said, thank you PFC Barquest for being my ASL! You’ve made my life substantially easier and efficient, stick around for that double rainbow!
