Cpl. van Gastel likes to get to business quickly, so will I. Since the last write-up, VG has massively contributed to the second squad’s progress and the unit as a whole. In March, together with most of us, he participated in the scrimmage against the TAU Coalition. He’s also helped put the finishing touches on S2’s logo design, helped with managing the squad, did his best to resolve technical support cases, for me included, and just did all you could ask him to. I’ve been working with him for quite some time, and I am not at all disappointed that he’s my partner. Cpl. van Gastel, I’m pleased to award you your 5th Army of Occupation Medal for 2 and a half years of service. Now let’s get some more!

Cpl. van Gastel is an amazing guy, and at this point I cannot imagine my life without him in it. Thank you Corporal for always being there for me, and the squad, you are a great friend and teacher. Hope you’re going to stay with us for much longer, I can’t wait to make more fun memories with you!
