Two Years & Six Months of Service (John L. Georgvich)

Cpl. Bates said:

He stands beside me, steady, bold, and bright,
His aim is sharp, his rockets take to flight.
With practiced hand, he fires with perfect grace,
Each shot a blaze that cuts through empty space.

In battle’s heat, when all the world’s at war,
His steady hand ensures we’ll win once more.
The rocket flies, it soars with thunder’s sound,
And clears the path, where danger once was found.

When chaos reigns and fear begins to rise,
His calmness cuts through smoke and burning skies.
He takes the shot, the rocket’s fiery arc,
And brings the light that guides us through the dark.

A squadmate true, who always knows the way,
With rockets fired, he helps us win the day.
In every fight, his skill will lead us on,
A trusted friend, whose strength will never be gone.

Congratulations on your 5th AOCC, PFC! Here’s to many more!
