There can be no debate that this Cpl. Bates
is shaping up to be a true veteran of the state
for he never takes the bait,
instead, he always lies in wait.
And when the bullets fly, he stands straight,
fearless and brave, never yielding to negotiate.
In the face of danger, he’s never late, always ready to anticipate; here is Cpl. Bates.
