Cpl. Donceel is nothing if not a team player. Over the past few weeks I have become increasingly impressed with the level of dedication he has shown to the unit outside of his obligations as my ASL. Be it organizing nightly pubs, setting up weekend guest drills, and most recently reaching out to the other SL’s in our platoon who have been unfortunately left without an ASL and providing assistance to lighten the load by volunteering to plan and run their squad drills, or write their WSRs. All of which Cpl. Donceel has done with the same standard of professionalism and thoroughness that we have all come to expect from his work. The man bleeds Blue and Gray, and I’m happy to see this awarded as he has certainly put in the work to earn it.
