Usually when I’m talking about PFC Hesse, I end up writing something about his dedication to the unit and improving in his craft. And while I could repeat myself and tell you all about his countless hours of practice, I’d really rather talk about the results. PFC Hesse has become an absolute monster in his time with DP3S1. From my perspective, it’s like having a one man mortar team on call to rain death on whatever point we mark for him. And I must stress that I’m talking about the EXACT point marked. I have quite literally marked a helicopter landing for PFC Hesse to hit, and before I could finish speaking, I watched a rifle grenade land directly on top of it while it was still airborne, killing everyone inside. When it comes to employing his long range kit, PFC Hesse can reach out and hit marks outside the sighting range of his weapons, and somehow make clean snapshots with them at point blank range if his enemy does manage to close the distance. Yet, I would be remise in talking about Hesse’s capabilities with CE equipment if I did not mention his proficiency with the flamer. There are few bunkers on this earth safe from PFC Hesse, his flamer, or the ensuing maniacal laughter. And with a skillset like that, it’s about damn time we got you your sharpshooter badge to match. So without any further ado, congratulations on your Combat Engineer Sharpshooter Badge PFC Hesse!
