At a certain point we reach a point where AoCCs begin to have a little less meaning; another on the jacket and another post for the record books. It becomes increasingly easier to simply feel that they aren’t particularly special. But as someone who sits squarely in the camp of ‘been here too long’, as those numbers climb up for other people we WANT around, I can honestly say seeing the number tick up for 2Lt. Argerham only brings me joy. He has served as a dangerous crewman, a great squad leader, and now a superb Platoon Leader. If this number wasn’t going up, I wouldn’t still have him here with me.
