The one thing this old man has learned is that 2Lt. Furie is like every other Millennial, he’s a quitter. He quit being a private as soon as he felt he was too good for entry level work. Then he quit being a PFC when he didn’t want to get his hands dirty anymore with the rest of the troops. After all the support and guidance I gave him, he turned in his two weeks to run his own squad. No loyalty from the kids now a days. You’d think that be enough, but then he felt he was entitled to sergeant. But somehow, that still wasn’t good enough for him.
