Four Years of Service (Mark R. Furie)

The one thing this old man has learned is that 2Lt. Furie is like every other Millennial, he’s a quitter. He quit being a private as soon as he felt he was too good for entry level work. Then he quit being a PFC when he didn’t want to get his hands dirty anymore with the rest of the troops. After all the support and guidance I gave him, he turned in his two weeks to run his own squad. No loyalty from the kids now a days. You’d think that be enough, but then he felt he was entitled to sergeant. But somehow, that still wasn’t good enough for him. Then he went off and got himself a new shiny piece of metal to show off how special he is like some sorta participation trophy. Who the heck knows what the 2Lt is going to job hop into next. Here is your second rainbow 2Lt, now go spend it on some avocado toast.

I remember seeing a private Furie four years ago. I would have never expected that that small private would become a second lieutenant, but such is the way of the 29th and life.

Congratulations on your second rainbow, 2Lt.

Congratulations 2Lt! I only wish AOCCs happened more often.

The write-ups EP2HQ do for the other are hilarious :).
