Four Years of Service (Richard J. Norris)

1Lt. Nelson said :

If ever there was someone I was grateful to have as a fellow member in the 29th, it would be Sgt. Norris. At a time when CP2 consisted of 5-6 men, Sgt. Norris took it upon himself to become the wangler of the dedicated few, and took the mid-day responsibility off my west-coast-plate. Through weeks of drilling, he turned his men into efficient team-players who would regularly punch up in their weight class against CP1. As a leader, his men looked up to him for his skill and Canadian-chill, and as his superior I was humbled to see how they had risen from the ashes thanks to his hard work. Sergeant, we are proud to have you among our ranks, and are grateful for your four years of service. Congrats on your 8th AOCC and your 2nd WWI victory medal. Ever forward!
