This is not the first time that I have discharged but like the last time, it’s not easy. Also like the last time, my life is at a crossroad where I need to reevaluate where my focus is. My departure this time will be longer than the last with Covid wavering but I know for sure that I will come back. Thank you all for the great memories that I was able to share with, especially SSgt. Wimpf, 2Lt. Deb, Sgt. Tilley (sorry to leave you alone again as the last of 943rd TP), T/4 Chandonnet, Cpl. Buckeye, Cpl. Sablon, T/5 Simpson, PFC Chang, PFC Gao, and all the other lovely people of DP2. Shout out also to Sgt. J. Lee and Sgt. Meerts, the two most dedicated people that I know, my home squad of DP2S2 (Valkyries forever), and DP2S3 who welcomed me as one of their own. I won’t go away, I’ll get a medal as a retired member again and then rejoin. Seriously though, I would love to guest your drills still so expect me there haunting you like a ghost.
