I am really saddened that I have to write this farewell, I expected to be with the 29th for much longer than this. However, all good things must come to an end. I first joined the unit when my friend Cpl. Harpers recruited me, this unit helped me through all two years of college when times were tough. Thank you to my old and new squad mates in EP1S2 and EP4S1 for making my time here very fun and enjoyable, I’ve made special bonds with so many people which is a shame I won’t be able to see weekly anymore. Sadly though, life must come first. I have been promoted in work and must continue full time education as well. I’ll miss the CS:GO with the usual crew, the late night PUB nights with the American folks and even meeting some of you lucky fellas such as 2Lt Wright in person (I am taller than him). Until we meet again. “Come out the coast, we’ll get together, have a few laughs…” |
