Farwell Message: It is very unfortunate to part ways at this time but I am at this stage of my life where I can’t lose focus and need to stay on my path. There’s a lot of things to say before I go. Many great memories made across 3 different squads - EP1S4, EP1S1 and of course EP1S3. I’d like to thank every single person who used to be my squadmate, ASL or SL in these squads. I could keep on thanking certain individuals across the whole regiment but my biggest thanks for not only showing me the ways early in the 29th but also watching me grow from a 15 year old to a 19 year old, giving me advice and making sure I don’t take stupid decisions, have to go to 2Lt. Wright, SSgt. Steinbarth, T/4 Kardell and T/5 Hensen. Of course they are not the only ones who had to deal with me but I feel a bit sorry for them as they got the most of it. Lastly, I’d like to send my farewell to everyone who is or has been part of EP1S3 during my time here as a squad leader. Thank you for trusting me lads and thank you for listening to me (on some occasions of course, let’s not get too greedy here). I really hope sometime in the future I will have the possibility to come back and create more great memories with you amigos. Until then I hope to see you around! |
