Who would’ve guessed that we would find a diamond in the rough of training platoon 1494? Of all the recruits in it, two of them did not attend a single day of BCT. One of them discharged after a week in the unit. The final one, however, is standing before you here today. In the year since the conclusion of his BCT, PFC Mckee has honed his rifle skills and has become one of the best shooters in CP1S3.
