Promotion (Adrian J. Donceel)

TSgt. Crane said:

Donceel; a man of mystery! He came to us not all that long and had himself an interesting time. His first swing of it, Donceel showed himself as an interested but distracted member of the unit. Upon his return, however, he proved himself a changed man. Immediately out to cut his teeth on more challenging endeavors, it took only the slightest of pushes to get Donceel to try for SLT and boy did he deliver. Voracious as any good SLT Candidate is, the good PFC took to it with gusto and, like all of us, stumbled throughout it all only to get up and do better each time. The mark of a true and skillful NCO-to-be, Donceel rolled with the punches and became better for it for each and every hard lesson learned. With an ASL position now firmly under his belt, one cannot help but feel pride at the 29ther he has become. As such, and for all the hard work put into the SLT program, Donceel will no longer languish at the rank of PFC but instead will be granted his NCO Development Ribbon and a well-deserved promotion to the rank of Corporal. Congratulations, Corporal; I expect you’ll go far.
