Private, First Class Hunter K. Roy has been the lovely Assistant Squad Leader of Dog Company, 2nd Platoon, 4th Squad for about three months now. This is when PFC Roy started thinking about leadership. He thought about leadership well over a year ago when he first joined SLT. I have had the pleasure of seeing PFC Roy grow as a leader over the past year and how he has developed himself into a competent and successful Assistant Squad Leader. With this, I believe PFC Roy has completed Squad Leadership Training and he will be receiving his Army NCO Professional Development Ribbon. But this is not all, the rank of PFC doesn’t fit this member. So, we’ll also be promoting him to Corporal. Congratulations, Cpl. Roy!
