I first had the pleasure of meeting and spending time with PFC Stutz way back when a newly formed DP1S3 was I given a couple of guys from S2 to assist with our DBOTS campaign back in 2019, at the time I was impressed by his friendly demeanor and can do attitude.
Fast forward two years, PFC Stutz has now served S2 as their ASL for nearly six months now, the Squad has gone through some tough patches, but he along with Cpl. Duran have shown their resilience and discipline in being able to mold the core of their squad into force to be reckoned with, and their recent accomplishments have done nothing but impress me.
As the final piece in the SLT puzzle Stutz set about the task of creating a doctrine similar to the length of Sun Tzu’s finest work, but with that completed, Stutz has now completed all that’s required of him as part of the SLT program, therefore its my pleasure to award him his NCO Professional Development Ribbon and promote him to the rank of Corporal!
