Promotion and Award (Jersey C. Alexander)

Sgt. Regan said:

Once in a while in the 29th the stars align for someone’s tour to be exceptional. Sometimes things happen and individuals are called upon to take on responsibility and duties before they may be ready for it. And sometimes those individuals rise to the challenge and succeed with remarkable results. In this case, I am referring to one of those stories. PFC Alexander hasn’t even hit 1 year with the 29th and he’s already shown his dedication to improving his own gameplay and that of his squad and platoon. When the choice came for SLT, he eagerly accepted the challenge. Shortly afterwards he found himself staring down an ASL position that he accepted. Since then he’s cruised through SLT and once again found himself facing the call of duty to take up leadership of his squad as the SL. He’s proven himself already as a leader and now there is but one problem. FP1 HQ has found that his uniform isn’t befitting his rank, and therefore it is my pleasure to award him his NCO Professional Development Ribbon and promotion to Corporal. Congratulations Corporal Alexander, you’ve earned it, Ever Forward.
