Ever since Cpl. Bukowy discharged last year in July DP1S3 was without an ASL. Even though PFC Stirling was not in SLT yet, he voluntarily helped me out by running drills and keeping a second pair of eyes on the squad. Shortly after he was accepted into the next SLT class, he mastered his lessons with good and intelligent input while also bringing his new knowledge to DP1S3 as their ASL. For the past one and a half months PFC Stirling is running his squad on his own and he shows them a promising future. He looks after his squad, while they definitely got his back after the squad took some big changes in a very short amount of time. Therefore I think it is a good idea to finally handing him out his Army NCO Professional Development Ribbon & promote this gentleman to the rank of Cpl. Congratulations Cpl. Stirling!
