Out of his SLT class, PFC Frank has shown the most drastic improvement on his leadership capability. With no prior experience in leadership, he has quickly shown his confidence in his growing responsibility; might I add in a very distinguished squad. Understanding he has big shoes to fill, PFC Frank continuously sought out advice and feedback as he quickly corrected his mistakes. There was an analogy that General Jerry Grizzle once told me, leading a squad of men is like leading a herd of cats. Unlike cattle, cats have all unique and distinctive personalities, quirks, and challenges that you have to learn on the fly and properly capitalize on. A mighty southern analogy, however, I feel it gets the point across of the challenge one may face when bestowed the mantle of leadership. I’m confident to say that PFC Frank is indeed an excellent cowboy and therefore deserves a promotion befitting his growth. Congratulations Technician, Fifth Grade Frank!
