T/5 Barnes, being the awesome and quiet, yet all strategic man he is, is one of many talents. So many talents, that he decided that for some time, he wished to serve for FP1 as their trusted Platoon Clerk. It wasnt until some time later, that he heard the discussion for the next class of SLT members. Understanding that there wasnt many individuals that were interested in the position and what power it holds, T/5 Barnes decided to answer the call, and fill one of those spots that FP1 needed to fill. Once he taught his new apprentice everything that he knew, T/5 Barnes was almost instantly thrown into the ASL spot for FP1S2, without much training into the position. As time continued and the classes continued, T/5 Barnes started to perfect everything that he was so nervous about. With his time so far being served with FP1S2 as their ASL and handling that position with great honor, he is, in my opinion, not befitting of the T/5 that he earned from the Platoon Clerk position. It is with great honor, that I can say T/5 Barnes will be granted his NCO professional development ribbon and a well deserved promotion to Cpl, the title that he deserves. Congrats on your promotion!
