Pvt. Donceel has been a special occasion for Fox and our squad because he was a transfer from Dog Company. Despite this, I can recall my first ever interaction with him which of course was a conversation about music and being a radio DJ. From that moment on I knew that Pvt. Donceel was going to go places and that we would form a great relationship. He didn’t prove me wrong but instead exceeded my expectations. It can confidently and easily say that Pvt. Donceel is a guy everyone needs in a squad which is a self-aware private who drives to improve. Privates tend to be given the short end of the stick when it comes to tasks, some may say a trial of fire, but this hasn’t caused Donceel to falter. Instead, he uses it as a tool to get better and to ultimately become a trained killer. It can be said that Pvt. Donceel is more than a private at this point which is why we are here today. Pvt. Donceel it’s my pleasure to award you with your Rifle Marksman Badge, Expert Infantry Badge, and a Promotion to PFC! Congratulations PFC Donceel!
