Right off the bat, it was clear to me that Pvt. Marchbank was going to be the kind of guy that would leave an impression on everyone he met. His boundless energy brought spice and life to the squad and he fit in the squad’s unique dynamic like a glove. Not only that, but Pvt. Marchbank brought the same energy to the battlefield. From the very beginning, he has not shied away from being the tip of the spear. This has often made him the first one in, and the last one out, when it comes to engaging the enemy. He has come to handle his rifle very well in doing so, and his communicative skills have made him an indispensable treasure trove of information. Seeing what Pvt. Marchbank brings to the table, and the motivation and drive with which he brings it, he fills me with confidence in his future in the unit. So, this man has well deserved both his Rifleman Marksman Badge, and his Expert Infantryman Badge, for his great displays of skill and dedication on and off the battlefield. And with that comes a promotion, of course, so congratulations, PFC Marchbank! I can’t wait to see what else you have in store for the unit.
