Promotion and Badges (Jareck A. Hollens)

I was first introduced to Pvt. Hollens when I became is Enlistment Liaison and he sends me a video of one of his shooting range times. I don’t know if he was just showing off or trying to bribe his way into the 29th with his skills, but he sure as heck made an impression on me. When BCT ends and I find out he joins my squad, I got a little giddy and excited to see what he was made of. His first squad drill was a tough CQC battle in Fallujah and while the rest of the squad was pushing through the town, I just hear a gunshot after gunshot and constant “enemy down” callouts. Nowadays, this guy is still impressiing me with some of the shots he gets and is getting to spook many of the other squads he constantly guests. He has also gotten a Light House Job and is joining the FP2S3 Light House crew. I’m excited to see where this shooter goes, but for now I think he deserves getting that promotion to PFC. Congrats PFC Hollens!
