Sgt. Lord exemplifies all of the aspects of a good platoon sergeant but he doesn’t stop there, he has also proven himself to be an exceptional platoon leader as well. His commitment to the 29th and dedication have not gone unnoticed and both 1Lt. Ochs and I could not bear to see such a proficient member of platoon leadership go without the appropriate rank.
