2Lt. Wright said:
“Has done a great job within EP1S1. S1 has become one the top performing Squad in EP1 since taking over, building a good squad relationship and keep the Squad’s nose clean. Holds DI and Statistical Accountant positions. Is constantly guesting other squad and platoon drills. Has completed Sgt School and held the position for the past year.
I first met Cpl. Lebedev when he came to BCT. He was a quiet fellow, didn’t speak much and did what he was told, I instantly liked him. Once he graduated BCT he then moved onto a EP1S2, which was lead by Sgt. Kardell at the time. Sgt. Kardell couldn’t say a bad word about Cpl. Lebedev and when Cpl. Lebedev was transferred to my squad he even put a good word in for him. Saying he was interested in Marksman and I should keep an eye on him. I found his gun skills very impressive but I saw something more to him than marksman. So I pushed him towards SLT. I am glad I did and he hasn’t disappointed yet. He been a great addition to leadership within EP1 and his Squad is performing at a high level. He has also taken on more responsibility by join Lighthouse, he is now running the GMT BCT as DI and is doing a great job there, It is about time to make sure we recognise Cpl. Lebedev’s hard work and Promote him to Sgt. Congratulations, Sgt. Lebedev.”
