Cpl. J. Lee, well known as Jelly, has been a squad leader for multiple squads within Dog Company. Cpl. J. Lee has been in leadership for almost two years. He puts in more than just showing up for drills. Cpl. J. Lee steps up consistently by guesting other drills, even those in other games, and helping those squads improve. He sees more than just his squad, he sees the big picture. He understands what needs to happen for the good of the platoon, company, and 29th overall. He will actively promote positive change and help benefit the 29th overall. Cpl. J. Lee went on to volunteer to swap with another squad leader, in another platoon, just so that the squad leader could remain in leadership. Cpl. J. Lee is an iconic member of the unit and we believe it is time Cpl. J. Lee receives an overdue promotion. For his time, dedication, experience, and overall helpfulness to the 29th. Cpl. J. Lee is being promoted to Sergeant. Congratulations, Sgt. J. Lee.
