Last time Cpl Fossi was promoted, he received great praise from 2Lt Griffin and all of it still rings true. He once again builds up his guys to greater heights, he shows great respect and care for those under him, and his subordinates respects and appreciate him likewise. The coordination between his squad’s members has reached a level rarely seen in this unit, through painstaking effort by Cpl Fossi, before and after his departure. More than that, he has by now become a reliable helping hand beyond merely his own squad, often sought out for his advice and perspective by his fellow members of leadership.
A great example of how he is willing to go above and beyond for his squad and platoon, is how he was willing to take a step down to T/5 when he re-joined us so he could help out with clerking duties in a time of need. And now that he has stepped back up to the plate of leadership, and proven his excellence once more, it’s high time that Cpl Fossi receives a promotion to the rank he once selflessly gave up for the greater good of his platoon.
Congratulations on a well deserved promotion, Sergeant Fossi! May you wear your new chevron with pride, once again!
