I go way back with Cpl. Hamilton. Less than a week after being assigned to SLT, he was transferred to my squad to be my ASL. Until this point I had limited knowledge of then PFC Hamilton, but I quickly learned he was a smart, dedicated leader. He certainly had some growing pains coming out of his shell, but he found his leadership style and further improved his squad making it among the best in the unit. On top of this he puts in great work in Lighthouse and truly is an important and impactful member of the unit. For this, the rank of Corporal is no longer fitting. Congratulations Sgt. Hamilton!
